Plot Summary:Matteo and Sonia meet in a hospital on the eve of their respective open heart surgeries. They share a common passion for mountaineering and make a vow that if their operations succeed, they will meet in 6 months time to climb together a peak in the Italian Alps. Will their hearts survive the challenge?
It's a story about a man and a woman. He is alone. She is married. Both mountaineers, both survivors of cardiac operation. He has in his chest the heart of a young woman, she has a mitral valve.
